What information do we gather and track?
This site gathers the following types of information about users:
- Information that users provide through optional and voluntary submissions.
- Information that users provide when placing an order.
- E-newsletter policy and email addresses: We offer a free electronic newsletter to users. We gather the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by clicking unsubscribe in the e-newsletter or by emailing us at ghosttour@ghosttour.com. We do not share any information, including names and email addresses, with third parties.
Usage tracking
This site tracks user traffic patterns, including time spent on each page, without collecting data about individual users. The software we use provides us with a user’s domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user’s browser). We may use Google Analytics for some usage tracking. To adjust your internet ad preferences in Google Account Settings, please login to Google and visit Google’s Ads Preferences Manager.
Cookies
We may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. Children

How do we use this information?

Ghost Tours uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit the needs of clients and users, and help to better understand our audience’s demographics. We will not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
How do we keep your information secure?
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private financial information will not be stored on our servers.
Opt-Out Policy
We give users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include:
- Opting not to subscribe to our electronic newsletters.
- Opting not to engage with the interactive features of the site.
